Stewardship Committee

The many activities and programs at Dennis Union Church are supported by the church’s annual budget, funded in large part by the pledges and plate offerings of out members and friends.  The Stewardship Committee considers the financial needs of the church and evaluates ways to secure funding for the budget as well as opportunities to grow the church’s endowment for long-term financial security.

Activities of the committee include:

               — coordination of the annual pledge drive

               — requesting contributions to fund DUC’s Barnstable Association and Massachusetts Conference dues

               — education about and assistance with estate planning and ways to provide a legacy for the church

                    through planned giving

Pledge cards are available year-round in the church office.  Questions about giving through annual pledges as well as legacy gifts can be discussed with Stewardship Committee members or the church’s financial staff.
