Andrea Baker, mezzo soprano, sings a new chapter of her one-woman series and gives voice to the music of the African diaspora in a glorious exploration of our global musical heritage across oceans and centuries. Composer Howard Moody and percussionist Newman Taylor will also perform. The concert will take place on Saturday, February 8 at 3 pm in the Dennis Union Church sanctuary. There will be a pre-concert forum with the artist on Thursday, February 6 at 7 pm at the church. Ms. Baker will discuss the development of the program and explore its content with time for Q&A.
